Handling the Needs of Special Learners in the Online Setting
Dr. Marilyn Bartlett, Texas A&M University Kingsville, College of Education and Human Performance
Participants will develop the necessary skills to accommodate special needs learners in their online classes to include an understanding of the following:
  • issues facing special needs learners
  • modifications that help and hinder special needs learners
  • strategies that may help special needs learners succeed

Obtain best practices in making the online setting accessible, and interact with other participants to modify their own online classes.
